In our final blog of 2018, you are being asked to explain (using RACE), how the problem of your book club book is solved (falling action). Be sure to include the title and author, as well as a quote and a page number to support your thinking.
Example: In the book, Because of Mr. Terupt, by Rob Buyea, Jeffrey's main problem is solved when Mr. Terupt enters his life and introduces him to the Collaborative Classroom. Jeffrey's classmates are suddenly exposed to Jeffrey's kindness when they witness the way he treats other students in the Collaborative Classroom. This, in turn, allows him to have a discussion with Jessica opening up about his family situation. In the end, Jeffrey helps his parents focus on living, and understands what happened with his brother is not his fault, "Dad, it's not your fault...Son, it's not your fault either" (p. 206). This quote shows Jeffrey mending the relationship with his family.

In the book theodore boone by john grisham. Theo’s main problem is that the court can’t prove Pete Duffy guilty They can't prove he is guilty because there are no Witnesses and nothing found it was a perfect murder there was nobody watching him when he choked his wife and there's no proof that he is guilty but maybe the court can push it out So theo tries to find out information about how he can prove Pete Duffy guilty but he has made a promise and he is in the middle of a tight squeeze because he made a promise to his friend not to tell judge Gantry that his cousin is in an illegal immigrant because he was the one that found the gloves Pete Duffy was wearing and it's just might have something that may be of use because he just needs to Give it to the judge but is that he would break a promise to his friend so he decides to show it to judge gantry (with his friends) and they have a retrial because of the gloves that he left him and it's just too much to hold into one trial plus this trial has lasted more than 2 weeks and usually it would last a small amount of time (but Pete Duffy made it a perfect murder we don't know what the gloves contain but they're having a retrial I think that in the next Theodore Boone the abduction by John Grisham they will find Pete Duffy guilty and theo might go up in the court and share what he knows well I have to wait for the Next book but I really love this one and I look forward to reading to the next one

IN the book Theadore Boone by Jon Grisham the main conflict is a murder because on page 34 it said " He squezzed for her neck and then she was un consious then he held it for 30 more and she was dead." This was solved by a ton of unexpected info from one of Theo's friends actuly saw the murder. Then the judge called a retrial and that there would be a knew jury. The reason that Theo's friend didn't tell the police was because his cousoun entered the country illegaly so he thought if he did not tell the cops he would get in a lot of trouble. This is how the problem in the book Theadoore Boone kid lawyer by Jon Grisham was sucsessfully solved.

In the book Theodore Boon by John Grisham, the main problem is solved when Judge gantry canceled court. Because he does not know who committed the crime. in the the book theres some evidence that Mr Duffy might of did the murder. on page 163 it says "his hands unbuttoned his shirt and pulled out a clear plastic bag in there were two objects they were two golf gloves worn by the man who went in the house the ladies was killed in". his friend Julio told him not to tell anybody. Julios cousin works at the golf course and empties the trash. He found the gloves while he was doing it. This quote shows Mr. Duffy might of did the murder.

In the book School Of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari, the problem is solved when a teacher named Mrs.Wellington Fakes her death and puts all the rest of her will left to her dog macaroni. The problem is solved when on the course Mrs.Wellington set up cameras so she could see all the progress the kids were doing. For example on page 324, it states, "Garrison closest to the pool realized that Macaroni was drowning beneath the cover. Without thinking, he jumped through the hole and into the water.". This is proof that there is an obstacle for each of the kids so they can make progress on there fears so they can go away, but they have to come back a few years in a row on summer break. I feel so bad but good for them.

In the book Theodore Boone kid lawyer by John Grishman, the main problem is solved when they find lots of evidence how Pete Duffy murdered his wife. His car was there at the time of the murder and they found white gloves in the trash that came from him when he murdered his wife. Also, Theo's friend saw a man walk into the house at the time of the murder and came running out and jumping on his golf cart and driving away from the house. As you can see this is how the problem was solved.

In the book " HOLES" by Louis Sacher, Stanly's main problem was solved because Stanly got sent back home and his friends [ Armpit and X-ray] did not have to dig any more holes. I know this because on page 30 the author states that the general Attorney closes Camp Green Lake and every one gos home.. "Camp Green lake's land was bought and in a few years it will turn into a girl scout camp."

To Kira Pratt I read this book too and I remember when they said the quote you stated. It reminded when Mr. Pendanski said, “You boys don’t wanna be going to a Girl Scout camp, do ya?”

In the book School of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari the problem is solved by the teacher, Mrs. Wellington faking her own death and leaving it up to Mak and Schmitty to run the school. But then they try to catch Munchowser when he tried to kidnap Mak.I know this because on page 324 it says "Garrison closest to the pool realized that Macaroni was drowning beneath the cover. Without thinking, he jumped through the hole and into the water." Then the sheriff brought them back and saw that Mrs. Wellington was sitting with Munchowser. This is how the problem is solved.

In the book Escape from Mr.Lemoncello's library,by Chris Grabenstien the main problem was solved when Andrew and Charles got kicked out of the escape game.I know this because in the book it says "You are correct for instance Mr.Peckelman will be leaving right now." page 229. Also "You are done Charles." page 273. This shows that Andrew and Charles helped Kyle's team win and solve the problem since there were a lot of ways the main problem was solved.

In the book Theodore Boone: kid lawyer by John Grisahm, the setting is the courthouse. Well at least mostly in the courtroom. the second the second smallest is his school. The third smallest is the shelter. Finally, the least smallest is the golf course. The rising action of this story is that a murder trial is about to start. A woman named Mrs. Duffy was murdered dreadfully by her husband. At least they think that. The man acussed of murdereds, name is Mr. Duffy. otherwise known as Pete Duffy. The climax of the book is that they meet a boy named Julio (hulio) who knows something about the murder. Theodore also called as Theo asked Julio to spill out the information to him. Julio tells Theo all about it. he tolled Theo that his cosin Roberta was on his lunch brake. They have it at 11:40. The time of the murder was at 11:45. Roberta was suposed to sit with everyone else but disided t sit on a stack of logs 100 yards away from the Duffy home. He saw a man quickly driving up to the house. he parked the cart and walked out. at the front door he took off his shoes and put on a second glove. He walked inside. He came out five minutes later empty handed. he looked for anyone who might have saw him a little suspitios. He didn't see anyone anyone. he walked out of sight acting normal. The next day Julio came and gave the two gloves that were worn by the murder. He took the and inspected them. The falling action of the book is that they are about to bring Roberta up to the witness stand but he won't because he thinks that he will be sent to jail because he thinks that he will half to state his name. He thinks that they will realize that he is an illegal imagrint. He is from El' Salvodore in Mexico. The falling action of the book is that they half to tell the judge all about the things they half heard exept for the illegal part. The judge sais the next day in court that this was a mistrial. Pete Duffy is the one who murdered Mrs. Duffy. His one whife. the only thing they half to do is go to a bigger court and explane why he is guilty and now acussed forever. Wait and see!

"In the book School Of Fear by Gitty Daneshvari, the main problem (Four kids having major fears) is solved by the kids going to school of fear. I know this because on the last pg. it says " I guess I am a little less afraid of death." Theo said.

In the book Holes written by Louis Sachar, the problem of the story is solved when Stanley runs away to find Zero (his nickname) and he comes back a while later after digging holes. He wants to clear his name so people know he didn’t do the crime.I know this because on page 96 it states, “When you spend your whole life living in a hole, the only way you can go is up.” When his lawyer comes to pick him up, he realizes that he couldn’t have been the thief. In the beginning, people thought he stole the shoes because they were with him but the attorney looked at the time they were stolen and they were found minutes later. Stanley’s dad made a new invention and became rich and moved into a glorious new house.

in the book Theadore Boone by John Grisham. The problem was solved by Judge Gantry. The reason it was solved was because of n a mistrial. that means they halve to take this case to bigger court so they can explain why mr Pete Duffy is guilty as charged
